It was always the Congress government which has served and cared for poor and scheduled castes, said the former Haryana minister.

Accusing the ruling BJP of making false poll promises, Surjewala said that big promises were made by the BJP before the elections but none of them have been fulfilled. He also charged the BJP governments for allegedly betraying and duping the poor, the scheduled castes and people longing to other deprived sections.
